青森ヒバについて
青森ヒバは極寒の地で風雪の中、成長していきます。他の樹木に比べて生育速度は 5~6 倍かかります。青森県内でも分布は少なく、択伐 ( たくばつ ) という選び抜かれた木材のみを伐採する方法で収穫され、さらにその中から少量しか青森ヒバの精油は取れません。 非常に希少性の高い香りです。青森ヒバに多く含まれるツヨプセン、セドロール、ヒノキチオールという成分には、防腐・殺虫・消臭の効果があります。

About Aomori Hiba
Aomori Hiba grows in wind and snow in an extremely cold region. It grows 5 to 6 times slower than other trees. Even within Aomori Prefecture, its distribution is small, and it is harvested using a method called selective logging, in which only carefully selected wood is taken, and only a small amount of Aomori Hiba essential oil can be extracted from that wood. This creates a very rare scent. The ingredients tsujopsen,cedrol, and hinokitiol, which are abundant in Aomori Hiba,have antiseptic, insecticidal, and deodorizing effects.
